2016-2017 Children’s & Young Adult Book Awards

The start of the calendar year is always an exciting time for children’s and young adult literature, as the American Library Association (ALA) announces its Youth Media Awards. Below you will find not only links to the 2017 ALA award-winning and honor books that we blogged about, but links to the many books we blogged about over the course of 2016 that have won awards and honors in the field of children’s and young adult literature. We invite you to explore our previously written blog entries for these winners and honor books. In the coming weeks, we will select a few more titles from the list of ALA winners and post blog entries to support you as you teach with these titles.
