Below you will find not only links to the 2018 ALA award-winning and honor books that we blogged about, but links to the many books we blogged about over the course of 2017 that have won awards and honors in the field of children’s and young adult literature.

The following awards are included in this post:

Comments

  1. It looks like you accidentally put Crown twice as a Caldecott honor and forgot Big Cat, Little Cat by Elisha Cooper.

    • Grace Enriquez Grace Enriquez says:

      Hi Danielle,
Thanks for reading and for your comment! Crown is one of those amazing books that won multiple awards, so we’ve listed it for each award it’s won. Grand Canyon is another one. For this post, we’ve only included books we’ve blogged about in the past year so readers can click on them for the variety of teaching books we included in the previous posts. We’ll be posting about a few more recent ALA winners over the next few weeks, so we can share more teaching ideas and invitations about award winners we haven’t blogged about yet.
